As I said in an earlier review the wifey and I went to watch this group for our wedding in Las Vegas. Just short of our 5th wedding anniversary I found out that they were coming to play in Leicester, (only around 30 minutes from us) so as anniversary present I got us tickets to go to the show (good Brownie points, but it gets better). What I didn't tell her was that I had been able to bag some VIP passes to go and watch a private soundcheck in the afternoon prior to the performance, and that we were going to meet the band before the gig (there's the increased Brownie points!!)
The experience in the afternoon was amazing (especially for me being an amateur musician) see pros like this practice and even be deciding on their set list for the evening was something to watch, and being in a crowd of 15 watching it made it extra special. We were able to spend some time with the band after the soundcheck and then go to our seats early to watch the show.
As before this was a great show and I would definitely watch them again, made all that bit extra special by the afternoon treat. Oh and my anniversary present was a six pack of Prawn Cocktail and a lottery ticket!!
