Foo Fighters - 2nd July 2011 - National Bowl Milton Keynes
I had seen the Foo Fighters before under different circumstances at Reading festival in 2005 while there with friends, but got a much better feel of them as a band watching them in their own concert, (never trust a festival appearance to put you off a band, plugging into another sound system without your own rig, and no soundcheck means that sometimes its hit and miss, always trust a band on their own concert when they can prepare properly, and yes it does make a massive difference).
We didn't arrive in time for the warm up act, which was Biffy Clyro, so I can't pass opinion on them.
Foo fighters were great, special guests were Roger Taylor (Foos are well publicised Queen fanatics) and Alice Cooper. A three hour rock and roll show that was completely live, (so many bands use filler tracks or hidden musicians its unreal, I mean can U2 really produce that sound with four of them!!). They always seem to have so much fun on stage, it was a great night with good weather, which always makes it better.
My brother in law was even doing security on the car park so we got a good spot and out quickly, everyones a winner!!!!
